Anti aging skin care treatment has almost become a modern day issue. It seems every day there is a ground-breaking new product to hit the market taking anti Aging skin care to a whole new level. But using these products isn't a simple matter of "dab it on and I'll take ten years of my appearance."

Anti aging skin care treatment is one thing; using it in combination with several other factors is important. You see, by following a simple formula of eating well, exercising and even going to the lengths of consuming optimal amounts of nutrition on a daily basis will go a long way to stalling the aging process a little longer.

Anti aging skin care is big business, more so today given the fact the baby boomer generation are hell bent on maintaining an effective health routine. Like no other generation, baby boomers in the main, refuse to look and feel their age. This has meant yet another boom in recent years triggered by the baby boomers; health and wellness. Anti aging health, food,  antioxidant, cream... the list goes on. They are all "buzz" phrases in today's society.

Anti Aging Food

Anti-aging seems to become an issue with most people as they enter their thirties. Suddenly, 40 is only ten years away. Solutions are then sought including skin care treatment. Did you know there is a strong correlation between anti aging and food? Nutrition has been hammered home as a good starting point in fighting the effects of getting old.

Anti Aging Antioxidant - What Is It?

Basically, antioxidants are the good guys within our complex bodies which seek out and neutralize free radicals...the bad guys.

They run rampant within our bodies destroying body cells and if enough of them hit home in the same part of the body for any given length of time, then cell degeneration becomes an issue and it's not only aging you have to worry about, but lifestyle disease such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease... you get the drift. So proper nutrition is vital in warding off the effects of aging, both in mental and physical appearance. At worst, it's a great starting point.

Anti aging skin care treatment involves cream and drug products. It's multi-billion dollar business today and is only going to get bigger. Age defying cosmetic products are marketed in such a clever way you'd have to be walking around with your eyes closed not to notice it. But can the aging process be significantly slowed or halted?

It's an amazing thing; when you're young you want to be old; and when you're old you want to be young. What's up with that? Trouble is, when you've reached the age of wrinkles, defying age suddenly becomes high priority.

Things to consider are: No. 1 - The ingredients. Are you allergic to any of the listed ingredients?  What is your natural skin tone?

Maybe some home TV program may have lured you in causing you to think that you were getting a high quality product.  I ordered one too, just so that I could write this anti-aging skin care review.

 I watched as the number of orders go up, I shook my head in frustration.  There is no way for any one to know what this highly advertised anti aging skin care system contains.  You cannot read the list of ingredients.  There is no way to tell if there is any clinical research to support their claims.

However, since I wanted to write this anti aging skin care review, I got out my credit card and ordered the product.  It was a “collagen kit”.  Because, I’ve done my research, I know that most any anti aging skin care system claims to include collagen.  And, since I know a little bit more about it than the average guy, I know that the fibers are usually derived form bovines, or cow hide.

Because my assignment was to provide an anti aging skin care review for this product, I ordered it anyway, at a cost of $78.  You might think of me as a guinea pig.  Better me, than you.

 I received my antiaging skin care system in the mail and I opened it with trepidation.  Finally, I could read the ingredients.  The first ingredient that I noticed was paraffin wax.  It was in the eye treatment and the lip “plumper”.

Any product that contains paraffin wax will feel like chap-stick.  If you put it around your eyes at night, you will wake up with blurred vision and sometimes itchy watering eyes.  That’s because, as you sleep, you rub your eyes, subconsciously.  So far, I have all zeros for my anti-aging skin care review and I haven’t even tried it yet.  I just know a little more than the average consumer, so I’m not looking forward to the negative results.

 I tried the eye cream in the anti aging skin care system, because I wanted to do a complete review.

 As I suspected it felt greasy, sticky and heavy.  It ended up in my eyes over night and I awoke with irritated, swollen eyes.

So, I tried the lip "plumper" in the anti aging skin care system.  I might just have well have bought a tube of Chap Stick and saved the money. But since I was writing an anti aging skin care review, I had to make the effort.  As with Chap Stick, your lips feel better initially, because the wax heals and protects them from further injury.  But, if you use something like this on a regular basis, it will eventually strip away all of the natural oils that your lips contain and they will be dryer than ever.

There is a wide variety of anti-wrinkle care products and anti-aging eye creams on the market today. This is simply because it is a less expensive and a more feasible option for many as opposed to botox injections or other more costly cosmetic options. Do anti-aging eye creams and anti-wrinkle care products really work? Yes, these products work. However, the difference in products can vary from one manufacturer to another. The key to finding the right one for you is to do your research or visit a dermatologist for a professional recommendation. Some anti-aging eye creams and anti-wrinkle care products work better than others. Some will implement noticeable changes, while others will affect the wrinkles subtly, with very little effect. Some treatments will work quickly and effectively, while others will work slowly and with less effectiveness.

Anti-aging eye creams and anti-wrinkle care products are perfect for those wishing to diminish the lines and wrinkles on their face, as well as moisturizing their skin at the same time. One thing to remember is that anti-aging eye creams and anti-wrinkle care products do not make the wrinkles disappear. They can look like they've disappeared, but if you do not continually use the products, eventually the wrinkles will return to their normal state. The goals of these products are to make the skin appear wrinkle free.

In combination with anti-aging creams or lotions, “dermabrasion” is a widely used treatment for wrinkles. Dermabrasion works by removing the surface layer of skin with a rotating brush then a new layer of smoother skin grows in the place of the removed layer. Another common type of anti-aging wrinkle control is “soft tissue injections” where a non-reactive substance is injected under the skin. The substance then raises the surface of the skin in the general area to be treated. Collagen is a fiber like substance most widely used for this anti-aging wrinkle treatment. Collagen is already present in skin tissue therefore does not cause any negative reaction when introduced under the skin. Another substanced used in this type of treatment is self donated fat to again raise the surface of the skin in the treatment area. Lastly, “botulinum toxin” is another form of anti-aging wrinkle treatment where a toxin is injected into the muscle in and around the area of the wrinkles. Since over time the muscle contractions caused the wrinkling of the skin, the toxin will prevent the muscle from contracting thus producing the effect of the original un-wrinkled skin. However, the desired effect of immobilizing the muscle contractions only lasts for 3 to 4 months and the area must be retreated again.

Combating the aging process means taking the a defensive approach and introducing helpful anti-aging eye creams or anti-wrinkle care products into your daily skin care regimen. If you desire more dramatic results, cosmetics treatments may be for you. Whichever you choose, avoiding the sun, along with a healthy diet, exercise, and the appropriate vitamins and supplements will aid in a healthier overall complexion.
